You’re right, Miguel, “__ the oven” is a better clue for BUNIN. But I had BUNIN crossing INNO (”__ time”), and the IN-IN crossing is a no-no.

I didn’t solve this puzzle on the applet for obvious reasons, but now I’m wondering if I could have beaten Dan’s time. Probably not.

I think I’m going to make that picture of The Hoff my new avatar!

I have neither read nor heard of BUNIN and would have preferred the clue to be ” _____ the oven.” BUN IN makes sense there. I was (rebus)ressed with the puzzle despite my g(rebus)y start.
